SUBJECT: Air Conditioning of Weight Training Rooms in Petro

DESCRIPTION:

Bids have been received to air condition the weight rooms in Whiting Field House. This work is needed to make these rooms more usable in the warm periods of the year for PE classes and Athletics.

Four requests for proposals were issued with the following results:

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

Expenditure of $38,950.00 from Capital Improvement account 03-00302.

RECOMMENDATION:

President Farley recommends Board of Regent approval to award a contract to McElroy's Inc. for $38,950.00 to air condition the weight training rooms in Whiting Field House.
