Breaking News
As of May 19, 2009, the Business Office is fully operational in its temporary summer homes. The Payroll Office has moved to Morgan 230 (in the east wing of Morgan, between rooms 225 and 231); Grants Accounting to the Bradbury Thompson Center, room 012; and the Business Office to Morgan 278 (in the west wing of Morgan, next to the southwest stairwell). These moves were necessary because of the Morgan Hall HVAC renovation taking place this summer. All these employees' phone numbers remain the same as they were before the move.
We anticipate moving back into MO 205 the week of August 10. In the meantime, we will be operating with just the necessities. This means we may not be able to provide the high level of service we normally aspire to, especially if we need to access information which will be stored in the vault over the summer. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience, and ask for your patience as we work out of our temporary homes.
Our Mission
The mission of the Washburn University Finance Office is to provide accurate and timely financial and accounting information and support to all units of the University (including students, faculty and staff), citizens of Topeka, Shawnee County and the State of Kansas, and other University stakeholders, with the highest ethical standards, while seeking to improve effectiveness and efficiency in order to meet or exceed the expectations of those we serve.
We will perform our duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission, values and guiding principles of the office of the Vice President of Administration and Treasurer.
