The Radiation Therapy curriculum at Washburn University is a 32 credit hour, 1 calendar year, certificate of completion program. This program will provide the knowledge and cognitive skills underlying the intelligent performance of the major tasks typically required of a staff radiation therapist at entry level. Graduates are registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Accreditation The Radiation Therapy program is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).

Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission to this program, a candidate must be a graduate from an accredited Radio- logic Technology Program and possess the professional designation of RT(R).

Course Sequence
The Radiation Therapy program is a one calendar year program. In addition to the didactic portion, this program includes a comprehensive clinical component. Because of this, these courses may be out of sequence with other University course offerings. Consult program director for course schedule.
