The Diagnostic Medical Sonography program includes three separate 30 credit hour, 1 calendar year,
certificate of completion programs. The program includes cardiac, vascular, and general (abdominal, ob-gyn) sonography. The program provides a balance of didactic and clinical experience that will equip the student with the knowledge and skills to be an entry-level sonographer providing quality ultrasound images through technical competency with compassionate and professional conduct. Depending on previous educational background, most students will be eligible to take the registry exams of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
