The Design Technology Associate of Applied Science degree is offered in conjunction with the Kaw Area Technical School (KATS). There are six areas of concentration within this degree. Students who have completed all requirements of the KATS Technical Drafting, Graphic Arts, Interior Design, Civil Technology, Horticulture, and Photo technology programs (1,080-hour certificates) are eligible for this degree.
For KATS credit transfer, see Joint Programs with KATS in index. The number of credits awarded to KATS graduates is listed with each concentration. To complete the degree at Washburn, KATS graduates must complete the courses listed with each option.
