The courses in biology are designed to meet the needs of four groups of students: those interested in biology as a subject necessary to their general education, those in the various allied health programs, those planning to teach biology or general science, and those preparing for graduate work or for professional careers in biology or related fields. A BS degree with a Medical Technology major is offered through the Biology Department. See catalog section titled Medical Technology.
