The Legal Studies program is approved by the American Bar Association. Students may pursue either an Associate of Arts (AA) degree or a Certificate of Completion. Courses concentrate on general topics such as terminology, legal research, legal writing, civil procedure, and professional ethics, complemented by various specialty courses selected by the student. Students also take correlated courses in computer use, editing and grammar and technical writing.
