THE MAJOR (30-31 hrs.)
The major consists of 16 required hours and one emphasis. However, with careful advising more than one emphasis can be achieved.

Emphasis (12 hours required in emphasis)
An emphasis consists of one required course, and three other courses listed under that emphasis. CN 384 Health Communication is the required course of the Health Emphasis.

Majors are not limited to 30-31 hours. Careful advising will allow a student to take up to 40 hours in the major. Also, students are encouraged to consider a minor, but a minor is not required.
