The Diagnostic Medical Sonography program includes three separate 33 credit hour, 1 calendar year, certificate programs. The program includes cardiac, vascular, and general (abdominal, ob-gyn) sonography. The program provides a balance of didactic and clinical experience that will equip the student with the knowledge and skills to be an entry-level sonographer. The sonography program is on-line and students must have access to the internet and possess basic computer skills. Depending on previous educational background, most graduates will be eligible to take the registry exams of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). There is also a Bachelors of HEalt Science degree with a major in Medical Imaging option available.
