This Skill Acquisition Bonus (SAB) is for support staff and qualified faculty (those who have never received other WU Distance Education skills or new course funding) who will use the skills they develop in direct support of teaching and as part of their regularly assigned duties.
Basic Skills (worth $250) - Skills to setup a course
Ø Access an online course
Ø Explain the differences between the student and designer view
Ø Demonstrate knowledge of file management (uploading, downloading, transferring, and organizing)
Ø Convert a word processing document into an html file*
Ø Convert a PowerPoint presentation into an html file**
Ø Insert the PowerPoint html file into WebCT for student viewing
