Favorite spot to relax on campus: The Garvey Fine Arts Center courtyard between White Concert Hall and the Mulvane Art Museum. It's very peaceful.

Advice for new Ichabods: Having fun and working hard in college goes together like peanut butter and jelly. The key is making sure to get the perfect balance.

Advice for new Ichabods: Find something that interests you and become involved in it – could be fraternity and sorority life, Washburn Student Government Association, Campus Activities Board, intramural sports, on-campus employment, or whatever else that interests you!

Favorite Washburn memory: As a student, painting up and cheering on our athletic teams on so many different occasions.

A hidden gem on campus is: the Multicultural Intersectional Learning Space (MILS) in the Union Underground! They put on a ton of events to help you learn about other cultures and learn how to connect with your own, too.

Advice for New Ichabods: Take a chance! Try new things and find out what you're most passionate about. You're bound to stumble upon your purpose in life if you love what you do.

A hidden gem on campus is... the trees between Garvey and the Memorial Union. When it is warmer weather, it is a perfect area to hammock.
