Living on campus can be one of the most exciting and rewarding aspects of your college career. At Washburn, living on campus can give you ready access to class, the library, and everything that makes college fun, like nationally recognized guest lectures, winning NCAA Division II sports, and fine arts events. We encourage all freshmen to live in one of our residence halls—students who do typically earn higher GPAs and persist to graduation at a higher rate, and the shared experience of living on campus will build friendships that last a lifetime.
Freshmen can choose between the Living Learning Center, Kuehne Hall, and West Hall. Transfer students also have the option of living in Washburn Village. Costs and housing contracts for the coming school year are available in mid-February, and our halls fill up quickly, so we encourage students to apply for housing as early as possible.
We're excited to announce that Washburn's newest Residence Hall will be opening soon! The facility is currently under construction and is slated to begin welcoming students in Fall 2016. Check the video below for a sneak peek at the new facility!
