On a personalized visit, you’ll take a campus tour with a current Washburn student, speak with faculty about your area of academic interest, and get your questions about admissions and scholarships answered by an admissions counselor. We schedule your day’s activities around tours beginning at 10, 11, 1, and 2. These visits typically last 2 hours. To schedule a visit, you can create an account and schedule your visit online (Once you have created an account click on Events and you schedule your visit) or contact the Office of Admissions at 785.670.1030 or 877.281.BODS (2637).
So, what should you expect during your campus visit?
- Meet with your admissions counselor to discuss the in's and out's of becoming a student at Washburn University. This includes addressing questions about enrollment, to basic questions about financial aid and scholarships.
- Talk with someone in the area of your academic interest (when available).
- Tour the campus - Check out the residence halls, academic buildings, library, union, and learn about the history and mission of Washburn.

When you get to campus, head to the Admissions Office in the newly renovated Morgan Hall Suite 100.
How long do campus visits last?
To get the full Washburn University experience, please allow approximately an hour and a half for the campus tour and admissions discussion. If you would like to speak with someone from your academic area of interest, allow an extra 30-45 minutes.
Where should you park once you get to campus?
You can park in the parking lot located at the corner of 17th and College Avenue.
