Alumni
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of
the Washburn Alumni Association consists of 16 elected directors who
each serve four-year terms with a maximum term limit of eight years.
The board elects a president and vice president who serve two years
as officers. Four of the 16 directors are elected or re-elected each
year.
Board members serve on one
or more of the following committees:
Recent Graduate
& Event Attendance Committee
Focus: Engage young alumni and help increase attendance at alumni and
University events.
Student
Recruitment Committee
Focus: Utilize alumni to identify and recruit outstanding students to
come to Washburn.
Alumni Connection & Membership Committee
Focus: Connect and reconnect with alumni in order to increase dues paid
membership in the Association.
Scholarship
Committee
Focus: Solicit and review student applications and make award selections
for scholarships made possible by the Alumni Scholarship Fund.
