Lean Six Sigma Instructors

Doug Von Feldt,  B.A., Certified Project Management Professional, Six Sigma Black Belt

Doug Von Feldt has over 20 years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, and retail and is currently a manager in the Information Technology team at CBI (Payless ShoeSource) where he is responsible for Process and Planning and the Project Management Office. He is also the owner of the consulting firm, Crimson Corporation. Previous to his current position at CBI, Doug held senior positions as IT Director at O’Sullivan Industries and was the assistant GM and CIO for Earp Distribution where he was responsible for the day to day operations of the company.  He has led hundreds of IT and Process Improvement/Six Sigma projects in over 15 countries throughout his career.

Doug holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Information Systems from Washburn University.  He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).  He also completed the Phillip Crosby Quality College course and is a member of the American Society of Quality.  He is currently serving on the advisory board for retailer Cali inc. in Lima, Peru.

Mark Donovan, B.A., Six Sigma Green Belt

Mark Donovan is a retail veteran with extensive experience in both the US and Canada, serving in senior positions,  including his current position as Director of Continuous Improvement at CBI (Payless ShoeSource), and previously with Freidmans' Jewelers as Vice President of Merchandise Planning, Distribution and Operations Finance. He also served as Assistant Corporate Controller for Blockbuster Entertainment. 

Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the University of Texas, Dallas. He has severed on a number of boards, including the University of Texas, Dallas, C4ISN Advisory Board, Mckinney Education Foundation, Mckinney Community Development Corporation, The Canadian Motion Picture Foundation, and De La Salle College.
