The Global Employee Health and Fitness Month is another opportunity to promote the benefits of a healthy lifestyle to employers and their employees through workplace health and wellness initiatives and promotion activities. Formerly National Employee Health & Fitness Day, Global Employee Health & Fitness Month has been extended to a month-long initiative in an effort to generate sustainability for a healthy lifestyle and initiate healthy activities on an ongoing basis. Past NEHFD activities have included offering SRWC guest passes at no charge to Washburn employees who are not current members, lunchtime lectures covering a variety of healthy topics, poker walks, and a scavenger hunt.

Registration and lunch available starting at 11:30am; 12:45pm shotgun start. $44.50 Registration fee includes: 18 Holes of golf, golf cart, and lunch. Registration deadline is April 25th. Mulligans can be purchased at the event and are 1 for $5 (limit 2 per player and CASH ONLY). Each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed. The scramble comes complete with Mulligans, PIN Contests, & “Free Throws”.
