The SRWC Fitness and Wellness programs offer a variety of consultation opportunities aimed to assist students and SRWC members in living active and healthy lifestyles.
Designed for the individual who would like to begin an exercise program or evaluate their current program. The test will include an initial assessment of cardiovascular endurance, body composition, muscular strength/endurance and flexibility.
Through an individual consultation, based on your fitness assessment outcomes, our wellness staff will design an exercise program to meet your personal fitness goals.
With the use of nutrition software, we can conduct a complete nutrient analysis of foods you eat and target the problem areas in your diet. An individual consultation will be conducted to discuss your analysis and to provide suggestions for improved nutritional habits.
SRWC members can sign-up for an orientation session, individually or as a group, to become familiar with the fitness equipment in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.
Contact the SRWC if you would like to have someone speak to your group or organization on topics such as: Preventative Health, Substance Use and Abuse, Sexual Health, Nutrition and Fitness, Orientation to Wellness, and Stress Management.
