Because December
has been extraordinarily mild and has broken several previous recorded high temperatures in the first week of December, Max and I took a nature walk along a path south and west of the Kansas Governor's Mansion. The trail is wide enough for a bicycle, but motorized vehicles are not allowed. We took our walk near the end of a perfect day of mild December weather.
