Topeka had a week where the temperature broke 100 degrees each day, Monday through Friday.
On Friday evening a storm brewed over the supper hour.
Temperatures dropped from 106 degrees at 5 PM to 71 degrees by 10 PM.
Winds and rain accompanied the front as it moved through, west to east.
