Hummingbirds made the "rounds" of
our neighborhood in August and
September 2003. The feeder was
hung just outside our patio door and,
if we stood very still, the birds would
fly down and feed within two feet of
our faces. These photos were hand-held, taken in close-up mode and slightly
telephoto, through the glass of the
patio door.
