| Rochelle Goldman from Brooklyn made the highest bid at auction to snatch up an authetic Keaton pork-pie hat. The hat was shaped by the practiced hands of Buster's widow, Eleanor, specially for this event. Eleanor Keaton and long-time Keaton friend, James Karen, visited Iola's festival in 1994 and 1995. |

John has been to all of the Keaton Festivals. In 1996 he invited his mother, Betty, to join in the fun. Keaton Festivals have been held since 1993, in Iola, Kansas, during the last weekend of September. See Damfino's coverage of this event. |
