Willie Nelson is universally loved.

Thursday, March 7, 2013, was
the third time he'd performed in concert at
Topeka Performing Arts Center in recent years.

Fans enjoyed close to two hours of solid performance,
with many well-known hits and some exciting new work,
including a group of tunes with a Fiesta flavor and some nods to
classic country music songwriters.

The backup band was superb: piano, bass, percussion, and an excellent harmonica musician.

Willie will celebrate his 80th birthday on April 30, 2013. Fans are grateful he's sill on the road.

Photo are in order as taken.
Be on the look-out for the band's touring bus, as shown at the bottom of this entry.
