by Tim Carpenter, Topeka Capital-Journal, 3/3/2011
A rally against actions of Gov. Sam Brownback in signing an order to eliminate the Kansas Arts Commission was held south of the Kansas State Capitol on Thursday, February 10, 2011. Speakers and the Topeka High School Drum Corp were featured. A crowd of approimately 200 attended.
If you care about the Arts in Kansas, contact your Kansas state senator and state representative and ask them to override the governor's action.
