We
made a flying trip to
Boulder,
Colorado in early April
2004. We were there to attend the
100th
birthday celebration of Philip Carter. Boulder is nestled at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, northwest
of Denver, and is home to Colorado University. In April there were
many signs of Spring--on campus, along the walking trail beside Boulder
Creek. There are great restaurants in and around Boulder, and the
shopping looked good, but we didn't shop. Apparently rain is not
unusual, and rain developed in the evening of the one day we spent
in Boulder.
