BI 324 Systematic Botany
BI 328 Plant Anatomy & Physiology
BI 390 Biology Seminar
BI 395 Biology Research

Special Topics:
BI 180, 280 &
BI 380 Ecology of the Cascades

Research Interests:

I investigate the unique anatomical and physiological adaptations that plants have made to their environments, specifically those plants that have adapted to arid environments, such as cacti and ice plants. I'm also interested in the phylogenetic implications resulting from these evolutionary adaptations.
