As Chairperson of the CIS department, I encourage you to notice the special learning environment here at Washburn University. You will notice every professor is actively involved in the educational process. Each professor takes special pride in encouraging, challenging, and developing each student's individual abilities and talents. This educational process is supported through the many business, consulting, and research contacts each member brings to the classroom. Because of these backgrounds, we expect the student to become an active participant in this learning process.
