Karen Simpson holds the position of departmental secretary and runs the English Department office with sufficient skill and efficiency to make the job look easy. Karen is a Washburn graduate with a BA in English and has worked at the University since 1993. Her family includes her son Ryan, also a Washburn grad, her daughter, Kelly, a KState grad, and two granddaughters.
