Sara Tucker (Professor of History; WU 1975 - ) as of spring 2002 has created and taught 3 different online courses: the Early and Changing World History surveys plus her half of a team-taught History and Psychology of Gender. She will also teach online Modern Middle East starting spring 2003. She is senior co-editor of H-Teach, a discussion list and online network about university-level history teaching.

Barbara Clark (Associate Professor & Associate Dean of Nursing, WU 1981 - ) has extensive expertise with many aspects of using computers in teaching. Along with broad experience with online teaching, she is also one of Washburn's most advanced users of PowerPoint and is rapidly becoming an expert with a number of kinds of graphics software.

Iris Wilkinson (Associate Professor of Human Services, 1979 - ) Dr. Wilkinson has been teaching online since 1997. She received a grant from the federal government to develop online courses for persons seeking to be certified as Addiction Counselors. Wilkinson also completed a post-doc fellowship in Distance Education through the University of Wisconsin - Madison. As of 2002 she has developed and taught about a dozen classes online.
