Of course presentation content is most important. After that, a really good presentation design makes that content effective and shows respect for both your audience and your content. But it's also important to carry off the actual presentation well. Here are some simple keyboard shortcuts that can you do the presentation more smoothly and more effectively. All are done with the PowerPoint show actually running.
Use Your Pointer as a Pen
- Keyboard shortcut to change pointer to pen: Ctrl + P
- Longer sequence allows you to choose pen color: Right Click, Pointer Options, Pen Color
- Keyboard shortcut to erase penmarks (and other on-screen notations): E
- Keyboard shortcut to change pen to pointer: Ctrl + A
End Show
- Keyboard shortcut: ESC
Go Temporarily To Blank Screens
- Keyboard shortcut for Black Screen: B (toggle on/off)
- Keyboard shortcut for White Screen: W (toggle on/off)
