Nan Sun
Daniel Morrow interviewed Nan Sun on April 14, 2006. In China she received a bachelor's degree in literature and language. She had married in 1990 and in 1991 she and her husband immigrated to the United States. They came directly to Topeka but were assisted by a host family in Kansas City. She started taking computer classes at Washburn University in 1991 and received a bachelor's degree in computer science from Washburn. She received a Master's in computer science from Kansas State University. She began teaching in the Computer Science Department at Washburn in 2002.
