Abeer Othman Al-Asali

Faculty Adjunct of Arabic

Welcome to the Arabic Studies at Washburn University. My name is Abeer Al-asali. I am from Jordan. I have a bachelor's degree in French and English, and a  master's degree in Business Administration. I have been teaching the Arabic language to non-native speakers for over 8 years.
The Modern Language Department offers a two-year sequence in the Arabic language (beginners, intermediate, and conversation). The students are introduced to the modern standard Arabic as well as the social and cultural trends in the Arab Middle-East.
If you want to know more about the Middle-East and the Islamic world, take steps to look behind the media coverage and join the Arabic classes at Washburn University. It is a unique experience, you won’t regret!
