I have been at Washburn a LONG time, as I joined the faculty when I completed graduate work at KU in 1969.
I taught full-time for five years, and then accepted a part-time appointment to join the Washburn administration as the Director of Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity and to teach part-time, as well. Dividing my time makes life interesting, but the teaching part of my job is without a doubt the BEST part!
I am a graduate of Washburn where I majored in German. I enjoy teaching the beginning and intermediate levels of German particularly, and I also teach the Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages course for all language majors who plan to teach. I enjoy working with students planning to study abroad.
