Dr. David Provorse is the Chair of the Psychology Department at Washburn University. He received his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in 1996. His professional interests include rural psychology, community psychology, violence prevention, and the psychology of exercise. His theoretical orientation is eclectic, with an emphasis on interpersonal and cognitive-behavioral perspectives.
