Suyo,
Gustavo Fares
Dear AP Seminar participant:
I am pleased to welcome you to the College Board's Advanced Placement Summer Institute for Spanish Language. I have no doubt that we will have the opportunity to learn from each other, and I look forward to being the facilitator in this process of mutual enrichment. I am currently the Chairperson of the Spanish Department at Lawrence University, in Appleton, Wisconsin. Moreover, I am a member of the AP Spanish Development Committee of The College Board, and a consultant for this organization. In these capacities I will be available to answer your questions and to receive your comments before the Institute gets on its way and, of course, throughout the week, in order to make this seminar a useful tool in your professional life. Please, bring to the Institute ideas of the best practices you would like to share with your colleagues, the syllabus you will use or are using in your AP class, and any other materials you would like to share with the teachers and with me. Please, do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to meeting you soon.
Yours truly,
