Higher Education Academic Programs in Victim Services/Victimology The universities associated with the JCVVS are unique in that they are three of the very few universities in the country that offer academic concentrations in victim services/victimology. While each university and its academic programs are independent from one another and the JCVVS, assistance in coordination and promotion of the academic programs is provided. The following links provide an overview of each university's programs in victim services/victimology.   California State University at Fresno   Washburn University   University of New Haven The partner universities encourage students to take advantage of the other institution's academic courses. The JCVVS partner universities may accept concentration courses from the other institutions to be counted toward academic degree or certificate.
