Lean Six Sigma is a structured and systematic method for organizational improvement. Its focus is to increase performance and decrease defects and redundancies - anything that does not lead to customer satisfaction and organizational sustainability. This foundation course (yellow belt) will provide a basic understanding of methodologies with the goal of improved project management skills, problem solving, and more effective cross functional teams. The course will also provide an understanding of the more advanced levels of Six Sigma knowledge and skills.

The course is offered over a period of four weeks. Each class session is three hours with application assignments between each class. Full participation in classes and assignments is expected to receive the certificate of completion.
