David Van Cleaf Faculty Development Program

Picture of Mark Kaufman TeachingThe Faculty Development Program consists of monthly workshops, a variety of teaching assessment opportunities, and a Mentoring Program for new faculty. A steering committee composed of faculty members governs and guides the Faculty Development Program. Faculty Development workshops focus on enhancing teaching, learning, and scholarship across disciplines, and changing technologies and student populations with a goal of supporting all aspects of instructional excellence and professional development. The Mentoring Program provides assistance to new faculty in finding their way in their new academic home at Washburn.
