Sponsored Projects Accountant

Bachelor's degree in accounting or in another business field with the equivalent of a minor in accounting.  One year of experience with governmental and/or non-governmental sponsored projects and contract accounting.  Demonstrated understanding of applicable federal compliance guidance.  Basic skills using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.  Detail-oriented.  Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to adapt to a changing environment, to work well in a team environment and to deal effectively and tactfully with individuals representing various departments, external partners and granting agencies.

Employment at Washburn University will be conditioned upon satisfactory completion of a background check.

Operations Manager, Ichabod Shop

Bachelor's degree and retail experience at the managerial level, or equivalent combination of education and managerial-level retail experience.  Experience working with POS and inventory control systems.  Familiarity with accounting systems and accounting report preparation, i.e., income statements, accounts payable/receivable.  Valid Kansas driver's license with acceptable driving record under University standards, or ability to obtain Kansas driver's license upon hire.

Simulation Lab Coordinator, KanTRAIN

RN.  3 years of clinical experience in acute patient care and/or medical-surgical nursing and/or under emergency or trauma conditions.  Demonstrated excellence in knowledge and understanding of human pathophysiology.  Experience with human patient simulators and audio/visual or telemedicine, medication calculations, and MS Office and Excel.  Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, problem-solving, self-direction, and critical thinking skills.  BLS, ACLS and PALS certification.
