
Washburn University’s Department of Allied Health invites applications for a 10 month position as coordinator of clinical education in Health Information Technology beginning August 2013 pending availability of funds. QUALIFICATIONS: Baccalaureate degree and credentials as either a RHIT or RHIA. Preference given to individuals with teaching experience, especially online or distance education experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: teach assigned classes, plan clinical curriculum, advise/recruit students and be the program liaison with all clinical affiliates. Also includes summer orientation and student advising. Reports to the Department Chair of Allied Health.
