
Washburn University invites applications for the position of Information Literacy Librarian. The University Libraries seek a creative and energetic librarian to assume a leadership role in its First-Year Experience Program and implementation of an expanding information literacy program within a team-oriented, teaching library environment. The successful candidate will teach credit-bearing courses on information literacy, coordinate curriculum-integrated information literacy instruction, develop instruction programs, and collect and analyze data related to library instruction. The successful candidate also will serve as a subject liaison with responsibility for collection development and participate in the provision of research services to library users on-site and at a distance (some evening and/or weekend hours required). The design of online instruction, both web-based tutorials and content modules for delivery through the course management system, will be a strong focus as the Washburn Libraries pursue their future in the 21st Century learning environment.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
