DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of the Leadership Institute is responsible for the following activities:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters’ degree with a demonstrated ability to teach at the University level. Knowledge of leadership theory, literature and pedagogy. Leadership positions with at least one position at the management level of an organization (or full organization) including direct supervision of others. Applicants must have a demonstrated success with generating support through volunteers, internal and external agencies. Interest and potential to fundraise through relationships with constituencies. Experience with budget management, development of partnerships, promotion of program goals as well as the University/agency.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Earned Doctorate complemented by research and/or scholarly activities in leadership, a strong and positive connection to leaders in Topeka, Shawnee County, Northeast Kansas and the Midwest. Administrative experience in a higher education setting. Significant teaching experience.
