Washburn University's Department of Criminal Justice & Legal Studies invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor beginning August 1, 2014. This position is a 9 month, tenure-track appointment.
- Ph.D. in legal studies, criminal justice, or other related discipline or a J.D. degree from an ABA and regionally accredited law school. Applicant must have university teaching experience, preferably in a Legal Studies Program, and show evidence of professional and scholarly activity.
- Instruction of 12 credits per semester in the legal studies curriculum; academic advising to students; professional, community, and university service; and scholarship.
