Washburn University’s Department of Allied Health invites applications for the position of Physical Therapist Assistant Lecturer/Coordinator of Clinical Education beginning July 2014. This position is a 12 month, one year with possibility of renewal, non-tenure track appointment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Baccalaureate degree; credentialed as Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant; licensed/certified as PT or PTA with Kansas licensure within 60 days of hire; 3 years clinical experience, with at least 2 years teaching in an accredited physical therapy/physical therapist assistant program either as an appointed faculty member or as a clinical instructor.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree, work experience in variety of environments including inpatient and outpatient settings.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach assigned courses, plan clinical curriculum, advise/recruit students. Reports to the Department Chair of Allied Health.
