Vacancy - Social Work Lecturer

Washburn University’s Social Work Department invites applications for a one year, full time, non-renewable, Lecturer position beginning August 2012.  Qualifications:  Master’s Degree in Social Work, two years’ full time, post-master’s practice experience; and eligible for licensure in LSCSW in Kansas.  University teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels preferred.  Responsibilities:  Teach assigned courses, academic advising, and related duties.  Application Process:  Review begins July 2, 2012 and continues until suitable candidates are identified.  The Department provides both BSW and MSW programs and a joint MSW/JD program.  Graduate program focuses on preparation of students for competent practice of clinical social work.  MSW and BSW accredited by CSWE.  Submit letter of interest, curriculum vita, and the names/addresses/ and contact information of three references to: Search Committee Chair, Department of Social Work, Benton Hall, Room 409, Washburn University, 1700 SW College Ave, Topeka KS  66621.  Employment at Washburn University may be conditioned upon satisfactory completion of a background check.  Washburn University is an EOE.  www.washburn.edu
