Washburn Institute of Technology seeks applications for a Mathematics technical instructor for the 2014-2015 school year. The successful candidate will be required to submit to a background check prior to hire. This is a 10-month, full-time, technical instructor position at Washburn Institute of Technology with the possibility of renewal.
The incumbent will teach mathematics within the technical programs to enhance the skill level of students who are enrolled in technical programs. The incumbent will be expected to provide a positive role model for students and maintain a positive learning environment in performing the following duties:
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with at least 24 credit hours in Mathematics, experience in teaching college level mathematics classes with a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) focus.
PREFERRED: Master’s in Mathematics.
