Z. Facilities Maintenance

1. Purpose. To set forth policies regarding the maintenance and operation of University buildings and grounds.

2. Establishment of Regulations. The Administration shall establish regulations and procedures for the maintenance and operation of University owned buildings, equipment, and grounds.

3. Emergency Services. The regulations and procedures shall include a system for responding to emergency situations 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Emergency situations include, but are not limited to:

  • Actual or potential water damage or excessive waste of water;
  • Power outages;
  • Actual or potential fire damage;
  • Weather;
  • Malfunction of elevator or wheelchair lift; and,
  • Other unsafe facilities conditions.
