Francais interactif: Site for first-year French students with helpful pronunciation and grammar exercises.
Tex's French Grammar(la grammaire de l'absurde): This site advertises intself as a a pedagogical reference grammar that combines explanations with surreal dialogues and cartoon images.

Site recommended for those interested in teaching assistanship positions in France:
French Embassy's website for American Assistants in France
The French Ministry of Education offers between 1,000 and 1,500 teaching assistanship positions in primary and secondary schools and instituts universitaires de formation des maitres throughout France and its overseas territories to individuals who meet the following criteria:

1) You are an American citizen (or have a green card).
2) You are between 20 and 34 years of age
3) You are currently pursuing a college degree or have already obtained one
4) You have basic profeciency in French. Students without a major or minor in French but with a basic profecincy in French may also apply.

Benefits of the Program:
You will spend between six to nine months teaching in France. You will receive a monthly stipend, improve your French through linguistic immersion, experience French culture firsthand, and gain valueable teaching experience.
