Sulfur-producing vents and pools at end of Bumpass Hell trail; the smell of sulfur was very strong!
Red snow; red color is due to snow-loving green algae with red carotenoids in their cells; also called 'watermelon snow'
Wolf spider on snow--creepy!

Beautiful view just meters from volcanic vents

Trees begin growth in a straight line from the bluff, and then have to curve upward later in growth.
