How to Apply for Graduate Stafford Loans

STEP 0:

Please complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

STEP 1:

If you have not already accepted your student loans, login to MyWashburn. After logging in, click on the Student tab. Look for Student Self-Service and under Financial Aid select "Accept/Decline Financial Aid Awards".

STEP 2:

Student Loan Counseling Entrance Interview MUST be completed by all first-time Washburn University Federal Stafford Loan borrowers. Once you click on this link to begin your loan counseling you will leave the Washburn University Financial Aid Web site.

STEP 3:

Complete the Federal Stafford Loan Master Promissory Note online at http://www.dlenote.ed.gov
