Books

Many published collections of speeches are listed in the Library Catalog under the subject SPEECHES, ADDRESSES, ETC. and AMERICAN ORATIONS. You may also search by keyword the Library Catalog. Search the orator's name and the truncated term speech* to pull up all records concerning your chosen orator and his or her speeches. The truncated term will pull up the words speech and speeches.

To find speeches on a particular subject, look up the subject; then find the subdivision ADDRESSES, ESSAYS, LECTURES.

For books and other resources on how to write or make a speech, search the subject PUBLIC SPEAKING.

Books circulate for 4 weeks. Note: Books in the Reference collection do not circulate.
